HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR CHILD SAFE?

All staff are level 3 qualified apart from any apprentices we employ throughout the year. Each qualified staff member is trained in Paediatric First Aid, as per recommendations following 'Millies law'. All staff complete safeguarding training. Only staff have access to the hall during opening times and any church users are designated key holders who inform us of their entry and exit.

WHAT DO WE TEACH YOUR CHILD?

We follow the latest Early Years guidance and are currently our pedagogy (teaching theory) to the Curiosity Approach. This allows children more freedom to learn about the world through scientific exploration, free choice, natural materials and removes the boundaries and constraints of a set program. We will be incorporating all the necessary learning outcomes that feature in the Early Years program but in a less formal way. "We believe we all learn better when we can explore what we are naturally curious or interested in."
